Nine partners from the North-Sea region have combined their powers to stimulate renewable energy for power and transport. This will be achieved by optimizing energy usage and production. In the by Interreg North Sea Program financially supported project e-harbours, the challenge is to create a more sustainable energy model in harbour regions on the basis of innovative intelligent energy networks (smart grids).
How e-harbours exactly is trying to achieve this? Please find out at the official project launch on 14 April 2011 in Antwerp. Project partners will be present to introduce their showcase, the expert team is available for questions and discussion and there will be a connection with the European Sustainable Energy Week, held in Brussels from 11 – 15 April.
